Meet the parents

Dar Tarlet (Dáreček)

As a puppy, Dáreček wasn’t exactly a prodigy. He was slower, not very interested in training, and his focus lasted only briefly. Honestly, I was sometimes a bit frustrated and even upset with him — when he decided something wasn’t for him, he’d simply wander off to “chase butterflies” elsewhere. But once he began to understand the purpose of training and individual exercises, a completely different dog started to emerge — a determined and hardworking partner. Gradually, speed, precision, and a desire to do things right appeared. My trainer says he’s a dog with a sense of responsibility. He shone at his first competition, and after the second one, people were still talking about him. I remember a judge telling me his positions were “like from a world championship” and hoping he’d keep it up — and he did. Today, he’s a confident competition dog who isn’t bothered by noise or unfamiliar environments. He loves the competition ring and can focus beautifully. He has incredible drive — our running exercises resemble a start at the Grand Pardubice — but he can also calm down for technical parts. Every competition brings me joy because he’s always fully present and gives his all. As a bonus, he also herds — we run “level threes” together, and he excels there too. I admit I’m mostly just tagging along, but Dáreček handles it for both of us. We treat it as a shared form of relaxation. In everyday life, he’s a calm and balanced dog. He lives with us in a city apartment and handles it perfectly. He’s extremely affectionate — really, very affectionate — a trait he inherited from his mother and grandmother. So we expect the puppies to be cuddly, social, and eager for human contact. To me, Dáreček is the embodiment of an ideal companion — for both life and sport.

Charming Fia Hola – Hopa (Fiunka)

Fia is a female with a huge heart. Incredibly smart, quick to learn, and excellent at understanding the connections between different parts of exercises. She finds joy and fulfillment in work — she gets excited easily, but can just as quickly calm down and focus. In competitions, she’s absolutely reliable — what she’s trained, she performs. She’s generally submissive toward other dogs. She enjoys playing with those she knows, but work comes first. On the training field, she doesn’t need other dogs and stays quiet and focused. At home, she’s a calm dog who enjoys her own space. If there’s noise around — like from children — she simply retreats to a quiet spot. She gets along great with other dogs in the household and prefers spending time in the garden — ideally near the sheep. She also loves playing with me. Sometimes we go for protection training, do tracking, and run canicross. Whatever she does, she gives it her all — with enthusiasm and joy. She’s very easy to motivate and truly “burns” for working with people.

What We Expect from the Puppies

Based on the temperaments of both parents, we expect puppies with a strong work ethic, easily motivated, affectionate, and sport-oriented. We’re looking primarily for active homes — ideally with plans to engage in dog sports such as obedience, herding, canicross, dog dancing, or sport cynology. If you’re looking for not only a great canine athlete but also a devoted life companion, feel free to contact me.
